After the funeral of his late father, young cricketer Rishabh Pant became involved with Delhi Daredevils, introducing himself and professionalism. In this sad hour, Pant decided to join the team while showing commitment to the team.
On the eve of the team’s first match in IPL 10, Delhi Daredevils coach Paddy Upton confirmed that if 19-year-old Pant will do it, then two Indian cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli have already done it.
Let us know that Virat Kohli’s father died during a match against Karnataka in his first Ranji season in 2006. Despite this, he played the match and scored 90 runs.
Playing for the country was the greatest honor for Sachin Tendulkar. Perhaps that was the reason that he had come to bat for India the next day after his father’s death, because his father had a dream that Sachin should name the country. The Indian team was playing in the World Cup in 1999.
Just before Pant arrived here, coach Upton said, “Rishabha will join us in the evening.” He said, “The whole team is with Rishabh. He is young. This is a difficult time, especially when there is something like this in the family. ”
According to reports in some sections of the media, Pant’s feet were also burnt while performing the last rites of the father, due to which he may have to be forced out of Delhi Daredevils’s first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Pant’s father, who has been running ill for a long time, died in Roorkee on Tuesday, after which the young cricketer had to return home to take part in his father’s funeral.
